OH MOTHER

OH MOTHER is a series of online programmes exploring the complex nature of motherhood. We aim to explore the societal pressures surrounding maternal decisions, the emotions that accompany becoming a mother and what happens when these aspects are lost.

The films presented here will evoke a range of emotions and we understand that the issues presented aren't always easy to discuss in person. We hope to create a safe online space for discussion around these topics, encouraged through the communal experience of watching film.

OH MOTHER is split into three programmes: CHOICE, BEING + LOSS. Each focuses on a different aspect of motherhood. Tickets to individual programmes include access to a series of short films + two feature films (one with an invitation to a Q&A/communal screening). Each programme will also include a list of helplines and support material to support those affected by the content of the films.
